What to read first for self-taught Chinese medicine?

Don't pursue ancient Chinese medicine books at first. One of them is difficult to understand, and the other two have no foundation. The three have no guidance from experienced old Chinese medicine practitioners.

From the basic theory of TCM, TCM diagnostics and TCM prescription.

Learning Chinese medicine is based on the basic theory of Chinese medicine. Knowing the basic theory, we can basically understand the framework and principle of traditional Chinese medicine, and it can be regarded as the completion of primary school. Then look at diagnostics of traditional Chinese medicine, traditional Chinese medicine and prescription science. After learning these three basic courses, you will have graduated from junior high school. Have a basic understanding of the system!

As for choosing books, I suggest going to Xinhua Bookstore to find textbooks for college textbooks. This kind of book is not difficult. It was originally written for beginners (because high school students didn't know anything about Chinese medicine before entering university). Easy to understand, authoritative and credible.
