Numbering rule
1988, the country promulgated the numbering rules of GB94 17-88, in which the first two or three letters are the manufacturer's code, followed by a four-digit code, which can be followed by letters as additional codes.
The first digit of the 4-digit code is the vehicle category, as above.
The second and third places are trucks, off-road vehicles, dump trucks and tractors. Represents the gross vehicle weight (ton), the length of the bus (meter), when the length of the bus is less than 10 meter, it is represented by 10 times, and the car is represented by 10 times the displacement.
