A mountain with the same name is rare. Why are there Shennong Mountain all over the country?

We all know the story of Shennong tasting a hundred herbs. Since Shennong wants to taste a hundred herbs, it is impossible to collect herbs only on one mountain. After all, different climates nourish different plants, so herbs vary from place to place. So he had to go to different mountains to collect herbs, and so many distant mountains left his footprints. In order to commemorate his great achievements, people call these mountains Shennong Mountain.

Shennong, originally from Huang San, was born in a cave in Lieshan Mountain. It is said that he is an ox head. Because of his special appearance, hard work and courage, he was promoted to tribal leader when he grew up. Because his tribe lives in the hot south, it is called Yandi, and everyone calls him Yandi. Once, when he saw a bird holding a seed, he invented grain agriculture. Because of these outstanding contributions, everyone also called him Shennong.

Seeing that people were sick, he went to Tiandi Garden to get herbs. When he was given a whip on the same day, Shennong took the whip all the way from Duguang to Lieshan. Shennong tasted a hundred herbs and was poisoned many times, thanks to tea detoxification. Because he vowed to taste all the grass, and finally died because he tasted the grass. In order to commemorate his kindness and achievements, people regarded him as the God of the King of Medicine, and built the Temple of the King of Medicine, offering sacrifices in four seasons. At the junction of Sichuan, Hubei and Shaanxi in China, it is said that Shennong tasted a hundred herbs, which is called Shennongjia Mountain Area.

The most famous Shennong Mountain is located in Zhaozhai Village, Zi Ling Town, Qinyang City, Henan Province, at the foot of Taihang Mountain, 23 kilometers northwest of the scenic spot, with eight scenic spots 136 scenic spots. The altitude of Zijinding, the main peak, is1028m, and Santianmen is earlier than Mount Tai 154 years. This place is not only a sacred place for Emperor Yan Shennong to distinguish hundreds of valleys, taste hundreds of herbs and go to the altar to worship heaven. It is also the place where Laozi, the founder of Taoism, made an alchemy and built a furnace to become an immortal.
