There is no record of Shi's heroic deeds and legendary experiences in the history books, so the whereabouts of Shi can only be found in other history books after the destruction of the State of Yue:
"Mozi pro-scholars" said: "it is the reason why it compares with the line and endures it; Meng Ben's killing was brave; Beauty of beauty lies in beauty of beauty. Wu Qi's split is also a matter. "
"Wu Yuechun Qiu Yiwen" said: "After Wu's death, the more he drifted to the river, the more he died with the barbarians."
"Ji of Emperor Wu" said: "There is a pavilion in the south of (Jiaxing) county. Gou Jian ordered to bring stones as gifts to Fu Cha, and the stones sneaked in on the road. Three years later, he arrived in Wu and gave birth to a son. At this time, the pavilion, his son can speak at the age of one, because of the name of the pavilion.
"The Book of the Moon" says: When the teacher pacify Wu, he will return and follow him to the Five Lakes. "
Biography of the Eastern Zhou Dynasty said: "Gou Jian went back to Vietnam with his family. Mrs. Yue lured people to pull them out, picked up a big stone and sank into the river, saying, "What's left of this broken country?" "
Mr. Sang Yu arranged these five books in a centralized way according to the chronological order of the authors, in order to make the readers clear at a glance. Among these four books, Wu Di Ji written by Lu Guangwei in the Tang Dynasty talked about elopement, and later scholars wrote many plays, novels or film and television dramas based on it, saying that they fell in love when they first met. Or did Gou Jian betrothed her to keep her in Wu's heart forever and never forget the sacred mission of revenge for the country, so as to tie her heart? In this way, after the death of Wu, Shi and "mutually assured destruction" became a love story of a talented person and a beautiful woman, with a happy ending, and it was also the most desirable comedy for the public who advocated heroes and loved beauty.
However, this passage in the Ji of Emperor Wudi can't stand scrutiny. The capitals of wuyue are only a few hundred miles apart. Gou Jian ordered a stone to see Wu. He walked for three years and gave birth to a son on the way. Moreover, when the child can talk at the age of one, he didn't go to one hundred miles south of Jiaxing County. If so, isn't Fan Li playing with state affairs? Does the history of giving birth to a child still fascinate Fu Cha? How did Fan Li resume Gou Jian's life after returning to China? There is also the phrase "After the destruction of Wu, I will return ……" which can't be found in Yuejueshu. The author just made up his own story under the guise of this book. It can be seen that the author is wishful thinking to explain the origin of the place name "Yu 'er Pavilion" according to folklore. Both Historical Records and Wu Yue Chun Qiu said that Fan Li didn't even take his wife with him when he fled. If he carries a stone, it's unreasonable.
The other three books all say that she died in the river, but the murderer drowned her in the river in different ways.
The Spring and Autumn Annals of Wu Yue written by Ye Fan in the Eastern Han Dynasty said: "The more you float to the west, the more you apply the river, the more you follow the foreigners." This is a bag made of leather. At that time, Fu Cha sent someone to send a sword, which made Wu Zixu commit suicide. Before committing suicide, Wu Zixu said to his friend, "After I die, you must plant catalpa trees on my grave so that when the trees grow up, they can be used as coffins." Then gouge out my eyes and hang them in the east gate of Wudu. I want to watch the Vietnamese people enter the customs and destroy Wu! " Fu Cha flew into a rage. He put Wu Zixu's body in a leather bag and threw it into the river. He clapped his hands and said, "Now you can't see anything!" Similarly, the way to kill a stone in Yue State is to put her in a leather bag, throw her into the river and let her drift in the river until she sinks. As for whether to hang herself and put her in a purse, or put her in a purse and throw it into the river alive, Ye Fan didn't explain. In later poems, the drowning of stone was mentioned many times. Li Shangyin's poem Jingyang Well says: "If the water outside the Wu Palace is broken, the stone is still buried with mud." Pi Rixiu's poem "Museum Wagong Nostalgia": "I don't know where the water burial is going, Xiyue Bay wants to be effective." This shows that in the Tang Dynasty, people recognized the saying that the stone was submerged.
Shi is not only a stunning beauty, but also a hero who destroyed Wu. Without Gou Jian's orders, the civil servants and military commanders of the State of Yue would not dare to execute him casually. Why did Gou Jian execute Xi? Maybe it's because he thinks it's too cheap to get revenge with a honey trap, and he wants to kill someone. Perhaps it is because the most beautiful woman in the country is occupied by Fucha, but she can't enjoy it and is jealous; Perhaps Stone knows that there are too many secrets between wuyue, and he is afraid that not killing will leave future trouble; Maybe there is an old relationship with Shi. After Wu's death, he will return to his arms. Gou Jian feels that as the king of a country, he can't get it himself, and others can't get it. ...
Cai's account of the history of the Eastern Zhou Dynasty is not only a means of execution for Shi, but also contains an imaginative story.
As early as when Gou Jian carried her back to Beijing from Zhuluoshan, he was drooling over her beauty, but in order to avenge Wu, he endured his lust and gave up what he wanted. And Wu has been destroyed, Fu Cha is dead, and the great hatred has been reported. You can also recapture the beauty with great fanfare for your own enjoyment. Suppose he was eighteen when he was sent to Wu, and thirty-eight when he was brought back. As a Wu Hou, Shi drinks all kinds of high-grade oral liquid to maintain beauty and uses all kinds of high-grade cosmetics to whiten and wrinkle. She must be well maintained and as beautiful as ever. In any case, it is a patriotic young woman sent by Yue State to do underground work, and it is also a trophy of Yue State. Anyway, she should be taken back to the motherland.
From this point of view, the return of Mrs. Yue has obviously threatened her position. Although she was not born high, her beauty, contribution and weight as a "trophy" are beyond doubt. Stone has naturally become a thorn in my side and I want to get rid of it.
However, she is afraid of killing her husband's pride, and it is not easy to explain it in the future. She then flew the patriotic flag and published a letter to her husband and Manchu officials: "What is she doing with this disaster of national subjugation?" Her action to kill her rival in love rose to the height of national life and death. Not only Mr. Gou Jian was stunned, but also the civil and military officials in the Qing Dynasty were stunned.
After all, the history of the Eastern Zhou Dynasty is a historical romance, and Mr. Cai is a human being, living too far away in the Warring States Period. Although this story is logical, there is no strong historical evidence to prove whether it was killed by Gou Jian's wife. Mr. Wang lived at the end of the Warring States period, and moved his capital to Langxie (now Zhucheng, Shandong Province) a few years after Gou Jian destroyed Wu. Mr. Mo Zhai should have a good understanding of the history of wuyue's hegemony, which is authoritative in the book. He compared Shi's death with Bi Gan, Meng Ben and Wu Qi, proving that they all died because of virtue, talent and strength, and Shi's tragic death was caused by his beauty.
After Wen Zi's death, Gou Jian built a high-standard grave for him to make a superficial appearance, but Shi drowned in the river and died without a body. The motherland for which she died doesn't even have a handful of loess, so her fate is even more tragic than that of Wen Zi.
