This intermittent spring water, called "tidal pit" by local villagers, comes at around 9: 00 am, 2: 00 pm and 4: 00 pm every day in summer and autumn. When the tide approached, accompanied by the rumbling roar, I saw a pure and bright spring gushing out of the crevices ... After 20 minutes, this 4-meter-square concave ground became a clear water pool with a water depth of 1.5 meters.
More strangely, when the water in the pool is about to overflow, the spring water is attracted by a magical force, swirling and slowly flowing back to the cracks in the rock. After more than 20 minutes, Mantan's spring water was sucked to the last drop, and there was no trace of being flooded at all. According to local villagers, this intermittent huff and puff spring can tide up to 6 times a day, and the tidal time in a year is about 200 days. Generally, there is a large amount of water in rainy season. Compared with other geysers, which only spray water, the phenomenon of intermittent huffing and puffing springs swallowing spring water found in Jingshan, Hubei Province has not been recorded at home and abroad, which is really rare.
