A brief introduction to the history of Sino-Thai relations

From the Han Dynasty to the Three Kingdoms period, the people of China knew that there was an ancient country in the Chao Phraya River basin called Gold Neighbor. In the Northern and Southern Dynasties, the ancient countries located at the northern end of the Malay Peninsula and the Chao Phraya River basin, such as Langya Xiu, Pan Pan and Touhe (Rolobody), began to send envoys to visit China. Song Ka in Sui Dynasty, Goro, Goro Shefen and Yan Lu in Tang Dynasty all sent envoys to visit China. By the Song Dynasty, most of the ancient countries in the Chao Phraya River basin belonged to Zhenla, such as Danliumei (Dengliumei), Luohu and Truth House. And sent envoys to China for a friendly visit. The descriptions of these ancient countries in China's ancient books can make up for the lack of historical records in Thailand.
