This poem describes the psychological activity of an abandoned wife at the moment when she was driven out of the house. The heroine poured out her grief and pain of being abandoned in the form of an inner monologue. The language is unpretentious and the feelings are sincere and profound.
A woman's monologue begins with going out: "It's even sadder to get into the car in front of the door." This is the trigger point of her sadness. As a wife, she was abandoned by her husband for no reason, and her heart was very painful. And once you really want to go back to the car, your sadness is even more indescribable, so "my heart is even sadder." The first two sentences are always full of poems. Because the inner activities to be described below all happen when you want to get on the bus; A word "sadness" is also an emotional clue throughout the poem, which highlights the tragedy of the incident. Then, the woman said a few things that should not be driven away. First, she said that when she was in her prime, she also looked as beautiful as flowers: "Looking at flowers by the roadside is like my first marriage." It is not new to use flowers as a metaphor for appearance. But here is the association caused by the immediate scene, which is very appropriate and natural, not only conforms to the mood and activity scene of the characters, but also subtly implies the emergence of women. " However, after careful reading, people feel that after it is deleted from the Collection of Tang Poems, the whole poem is contained but not revealed, and the charm of the poem is more mellow.
Liu Jia was a realistic poet in the late Tang Dynasty. This poem of his is tactfully and naturally written. It describes the inner activities of abandoned wives in great detail, and shows the bitterness of "complaining without anger" (a collection of Tang poems), which makes readers feel infinite sympathy. Compared with this poem, Gu Kuang, a poet in the middle Tang Dynasty, wrote "Abandoned Wife" with both resentment and resentment. There are both the sadness of "things are different, the new favorite Yan Fang is good", the rejection of "who wants to be with each other all his life", and the words of "have a good talk with my sister-in-law in the future and don't get married like brothers and husbands". Liu Shi is naturally "higher than Gu Kuang's works" ("Three Hundred Tang Poems") in the aesthetic vision of advocating tenderness and honesty. These two poems actually show two images of abandoned wives with different personalities, and show two different creative styles of writers.
