Buddhism often uses cars and boats as metaphors to practice, especially when comparing the Hinayana teaching method with the Mahayana teaching method. Hinayana is a small sailboat, Mahayana is a big sailboat, and the small sailboat can only make itself an arhat, so it falls on Hinayana; A galleon can learn not only from itself but also from others. To achieve bodhisattva and Buddha is called Mahayana. Therefore, this kind of "compassionate voyage" for others is called "benevolent voyage".
Guanyin Bodhisattva is called "a good believer" in Taoism (Taoism and Buddhism have merged many times in history). Although some monks have achieved positive results, they are compassionate and concerned about the world, but they still come back to turn over a new leaf and begin to cultivate all beings. This kind of behavior is also called "sailing against the current, being good and not doing much".
