Introduction:

"Three Generations of Auspicious Gold and Inscriptions" is the fruitful result of Luo Zhenyu's 40 years of collecting bronze rubbings, with a total of 4,831 pieces. In the nearly half a century since its publication, it has become world-famous for its rich collection and excellent printing. There is no other book that can replace it. This book is arranged by vessel type, and each vessel type is sequenced by the number of words. However, there is no explanation and only a table of contents, which is not very convenient for beginners. At the back of the reprinted book "Three Generations of Ji Jin Wen Cun" is Sun Zhichu's article "Three Generations of Ji Jin Wen Cun", which can help readers better understand the advantages and disadvantages of this book.

"Collection of Bronze Inscriptions of Yin and Zhou Dynasties"

Introduction:

This book collects multi-text materials, including various types of artifacts from the Yin and Zhou Dynasties, Western Zhou Dynasty, Spring and Autumn Period and Warring States Period. The lowest age limit is before the unification of Qin Dynasty. Since the Song Dynasty, various records and collections of major domestic and foreign museums have been collected, and we strive to collect them more completely. Newly unearthed and collected items from various places are limited to those that have been published publicly when each volume is compiled. The total number of inscriptions collected is expected to be over 10,000 pieces. There are five main sources of rubbings used in the book: (1) old rubbings accumulated by the Institute of Archeology over the years, (2) the archives of Acta Archeologica Sinica and Archeology, (3) newly made rubbings made by comrades of the editorial team who went to relevant units, (4) Ready-made rubbings or original large photos of rubbings provided by several cultural and museum units, (5) Rubbings lent by several units or individuals. Among them, the first and second items total about five thousand utensils, the third item recommends nearly three thousand utensils, the fourth item has more than a thousand utensils, and the fifth item has only a few. There are also a certain number of inscriptions on vessels. Due to the lack of good copying on hand or only copies circulating, we adopt the method of cutting and pasting "Three Dynasties Ji Jin Wen Cun", (Golden Inscriptions of Shang and Zhou Dynasties) and other books, or copying other inscriptions in proportion by our institute's technical laboratory, using There are two ways to make it up.
