The great doctor is sincere

——Selected from Sun Simiao's "A Thousand Gold Prescriptions for Emergencies"

Zhang Zhan said: "The origin of the difficulty of mastering the prescriptions in the husband's classics" "Today's diseases are the same on the inside but different on the outside, and they are different on the inside but the same on the outside. Therefore, the excess and deficiency of the five internal organs and the six internal organs, and the congestion of the blood vessels and the body, cannot be detected by the ears and eyes. They must be diagnosed first. . However, when the mouth is close to the ruler, there is a chaos of floating, sinking and tight strings; when the Shu acupoint flows, there is a difference between high and low, shallow and deep; the skin, muscles and bones are different in thickness, hardness and softness. Only those with subtle intentions can talk about this. Now, even if you are looking for the most subtle and subtle things, it is not dangerous to seek the most coarse and shallow things! If it is overflowing it will benefit it, if it is deficient it will damage it, if it is clear and clear, if it is blocked and blocked, if it is cold and it is cold, if it is hot and it is warm, it will aggravate its illness, and if I hope it will live, I will see it die. Therefore, it is difficult to master medical prescriptions and divination, and it is difficult for people to master their skills. Since they are not divinely taught, how can they obtain their subtleties? There are fools in the world who, after reading prescriptions for three years, will say that there is no disease in the world that can be cured; after treating diseases for three years, they will realize that there is no prescription in the world that can be cured. Therefore, scholars must be knowledgeable about medical sources and be diligent and tireless. They must not just listen to hearsay and say that the medical knowledge is enough. This is a mistake!

Whenever a great doctor treats a disease, he must calm his mind and calm his mind, have no desires or demands, first have a heart of great compassion and compassion, and vow to save the suffering of the soul. If someone comes to seek help from someone who is sick, he should not ask whether he is rich or poor, whether he is old or young, has a beautiful wife, whether he is close or good friends, whether he is beautiful or barbaric, is stupid or wise, or is the same person. They are all the same as those of close relatives. Nor should he look forward and backward, worry about his own good or bad luck, and protect his life. If you see that person's distress, if you have it yourself, you will be deeply saddened. Do not avoid wandering, day or night, cold or heat, hunger, thirst, or fatigue. Go to rescue with all your heart, without any intention of making any signs of effort. If you do this, you can be a great doctor for the common people, but if you don't, you can be a great thief with a spiritual spirit. Since ancient times, famous sages have treated diseases and used their lives to relieve emergencies. Although they are called humble animals and noble people, as for loving life, they are the same as humans and animals. It benefits oneself at the expense of others, and things suffer from the same situation. How about others! The husband kills to survive, but is further away from death. The reason why I am making this prescription without using life as medicine is that it is good. This is not the case for flies and leeches. If there are deceased people in the market, they will be used in the market. Just like a chicken egg, because it is chaotic and undivided, there must be a large section of it that is urgent, and it has to be tolerated and used. Those who can do without it are considered great philosophers, but they are also beyond their reach. There are those who suffer from sores and diarrhea, are stinky and filthy and cannot be seen, and are disgusted by others. However, it is my ambition to feel ashamed, pitiful and sorrowful, and not to have a single thought.

My husband, a great doctor, wants to have a clear inner vision. He looks as if he is clear and spacious, neither bright nor ignorant. Prevent disease and diagnose disease, pay close attention to the heart, carefully observe the appearance and symptoms, miss no trace, and prescribe acupuncture and medicine without any discrepancy. Although it is said that the disease should be cured quickly, it is necessary to deal with the situation without confusion, but one should carefully examine the truth and thoughts, and do not put your life above your own. It is extremely unkind to show off your talents and seek fame! I went to the patient's house again. His eyes were full of beautiful things, but he didn't look left and right. He put strings and bamboos in his ears. Nothing seemed to entertain him. He recommended treasures over and over again. The food seemed to be tasteless. It was both spicy and spicy, and he looked at it if it was there or not. Therefore, I am alone in a corner, and the whole hall is unhappy. Moreover, the patient is in pain, and the doctor is happy and proud. This is the disgrace of man and god. What a man would not do, it is a shame for the doctor to do it. The original intention is also.

In order to practice medicine, you should not talk too much, laugh, talk and make noise, talk about right and wrong, talk about people, show off your reputation, slander other doctors, be self-conscious about your own virtue, and accidentally cure a disease, then you will be embarrassed. Wearing a face on the head and having a self-proclaimed appearance is said to be unparalleled in the world. This is the best way to heal people who are dying.

Therefore, doctors should not rely on their own strengths and concentrate on managing property, but they should have the heart to save suffering and feel that they are blessed in the path of destiny. And you must not use his wealth to give him precious medicine, making it difficult for him to find it, and showing off his abilities. This is not the way to be loyal and forgiving. The purpose is to save people, so they also discuss it in a distorted way. Scholars should not be ashamed to speak contemptuously.

The great doctor is sincere

(Excerpted from Tang Dynasty Sun Simiao's "Essential Prescriptions for Emergencies")

Original text Whenever a great doctor treats a disease, he must calm his mind and calm his mind. With no desires or demands, first have a compassionate heart and vow to save the suffering of souls. If someone comes to seek help from someone who is sick, he should not blame the rich or the poor, the young and the young, the young and the beautiful, the close friends, the rich, the barbarian, the wise and the stupid, all the same, they are all the same as close relatives; nor should he look forward and backward, worry about his own good or bad, and protect his body and life. Seeing other people's distress, if you have it yourself, feel deeply sad, do not avoid hardships, day and night, cold and heat, hunger, thirst, fatigue, and go to rescue with one heart, without any intention of doing anything. This can be a great doctor for the people; on the contrary, it is spiritual. A giant thief... He is one who suffers from sores and diarrhea, is stinky and filthy and cannot be looked at, and is disgusted by others, but he feels ashamed, pitiful and sorrowful, and cannot even think about it. This is my ambition.

Explanation: When treating diseases, a good doctor must be focused, calm, and free from other distracting thoughts. First of all, he must have compassion and compassion and be determined to relieve people's suffering. If a patient comes for medical treatment, it does not matter whether he is a person of high or low status, whether he is rich or poor, whether he is old or young, whether he is an enemy or a relative, whether he is a casual relationship or a close friend, whether he is a Han nationality or an ethnic minority (including Chinese and foreign), whether he is smart or stupid. Everyone should be treated equally, and consider them as if they were their own relatives; we should not worry too much, consider our own pros and cons, and cherish our own lives due to indecision. When you see the other person suffering from illness, you should be as considerate to him as if you were sick, have sympathy for the patient from the heart, and do not avoid hardships. No matter it is day or night, cold or hot, hungry, thirsty or tired, you should treat him wholeheartedly. He, don't pretend to be pretentious, have other thoughts in your heart, and make excuses with your mouth. By doing this, you can become a good doctor for the people. If you do the opposite, it will be of no benefit to the people but will do great harm... Some people suffer from sores and diarrhea, and the stench is unsightly to the eyes. Even others are disgusted to see them. Doctors must sympathize with and considerate the patients from the bottom of their hearts. If they feel uncomfortable, they cannot If I have some other thoughts, this is my wish.

The annotation of Sun Simiao's "The Sincerity of Great Physicians" clearly advocates that doctors must have medical ethics and carry forward the humanitarian spirit of saving lives and healing the wounded. Then it discusses the two aspects of the cultivation of "great doctors": "jing" and "sincerity". "Jing" refers to professional proficiency; "sincerity" refers to high moral character. That is to say, a doctor must have superb medical skills and noble medical ethics.
