What is the binding line of a3 paper?

The format of drawing frame is specified in GB/T 14689-2008. In standard mechanical drawing, the national standard stipulates that when A3 drawings are bound, the binding edge is 25mm; and the other three edges are 5mm; Leave 10mm or so, without binding.

According to the national standard, the drawing frame must be drawn with thick solid lines, with or without binding edges, but only one format can be used for drawing the same product. For drawings with or without binding edges, the frame format is shown in the figure below, and the frame size is shown in the figure below:

On the left is the reserved binding edge, and on the right is the schematic diagram of the drawing frame without binding edge.

A3 size:

According to the basic area of paper format, the format specifications are divided into A series, B series and C series. A0 has a folio size of 841mm×1189mm and a folio area of 1m2. B0 has a width of1000 mm×1414 mm and a width area of1.41m2; The width dimension of C0 is 9 17mm× 1279mm, and the width area is1.17m2; The format specification of copy paper only adopts A series and B series.

If A0 paper is divided into two halves along the length direction, it becomes A 1 specification, while A 1 paper is divided along the length direction, it becomes A2 specification, so it is divided into A8 specification. Among them, A3, A4, A5, A6, B4, B5 and B6 are common specifications of copy paper.
