No one translated the abbot's notes?

Natsume Soseki translated this work.

Natsume translated the Japanese classic The Abbot into English while studying in Britain.

As an indispensable figure in the history of modern Japanese literature, Natsume Jun has high attainments in both eastern and western cultures and is known as a "great national writer". He can write China's poems, haiku and calligraphy with ease, and the name of Shu Shi is the allusion of "Shu Shi Pillow Flow" in the ancient book Jin Shu.
