This book is an anthology of ancient prose ci and fu from the Warring States to the Qing Dynasty, which is divided into three categories: argumentation, preface and postscript, recitation, calligraphy, gift preface, imperial edict, biography, epitaph, miscellaneous notes, ode, ci and fu, funeral sacrifice and so on 13. The content focuses on the policies of the Warring States, historical records, essayists in the Han Dynasty, eight masters in the Tang and Song Dynasties, and ancient prose by Gui Youguang in Ming Dynasty, Bao Fang in Qing Dynasty and Liu Dakui. This book strictly follows the theory of Tongcheng School. The book * * * contains 722 ancient prose, with a small preface and a table of contents in front of the book, which is called preface. Under the preface is the text, with comments and annotations, so it can fully publicize the literary views of Tongcheng School.
