Apart from the Terracotta Warriors, what other cultural relics shocked the world when unearthed?

As one of the four ancient civilizations in the world, China is the only surviving country with a very long history and splendid culture. Many cultural relics unearthed in China shocked the world. Let me introduce these cultural relics.

1, female corpse of Mawangdui Han Tomb

1972 In Mawangdui No.1 Tomb in Changsha, archaeologists excavated a huge coffin. As the coffin was peeled off layer by layer, the female body inside was gradually exposed. The female corpse was dressed in 20 layers of silk. When the 20 layers of silk clothes were peeled off one by one, a lifelike female corpse appeared in front of people, and all the people present sighed. Unfortunately, due to environmental reasons, the female corpse was not well preserved and the condition of the corpse deteriorated. It was not until a year later that a suitable preservation method was found. Nevertheless, the female corpse is particularly well preserved, which can be said to be a miracle of the world.

2. Plain yarn clothing

Plain gauze clothing was also unearthed from Mawangdui No.1 tomb in Changsha, Hunan Province. It is the oldest, most complete, most exquisite and lightest garment in the world. It weighs only 49 grams and can be said to be as thin as a cicada's wing. Some people even say that this dress can be folded and put into a matchbox. As early as 2002, plain yarn clothing became one of the first cultural relics forbidden to go abroad for exhibitions.

3. Warring States Crystal Cup

Warring States Crystal Cup Unearthed in Banshan Town, Hangzhou, 1990. It is the largest crystal product unearthed in China so far and one of the national treasures of China. Now in Hangzhou Museum. It can be said that when many people first saw the Warring States Crystal Cup, they didn't think it was a cultural relic at all, because it was too similar to glass. Even when it was unearthed at that time, it was speculated that the glass left by the grave robbers was accidentally transported to Beijing for testing, and it was proved to be a crystal cup. The crystal cup, like plain gauze clothing, is one of the first cultural relics forbidden to go abroad for exhibition.
