When experts from National Cultural Heritage Administration investigated the temple in 1959, the ruins of the ruined temple had become desolate, and Donna Temple was moved ten years later.

Destroyed by chaos, it is one of the three major printing plants in Tibet. Donna Temple 1962 was announced by the people's government of the autonomous region as the first batch of cultural relics protection units at the autonomous region level.
