What is the relationship between Li Xin-chuan's Summary of Years Since the Establishment of Yan and Li Dao's Continuation of Zi Zhi Tong Jian?
Annals of Yan Jiannian is a chronicle of current events in the Song Dynasty. 200 volumes. Author Li Xinchuan (1 167 ~ 1240) described the period from the first year of Jianyan (1 127) to the thirty-second year of Shaoxing (1162) * *. There are a lot of current affairs records in the Gaozong era. Because of the different experiences, details and political views recorded in these records, the evaluation of the characters is not the same, and many different stories have appeared, with different opinions. On the basis of official books such as The Emperor's Calendar and Zhongxing Yao Hui, and referring to other official books, as well as more than 100 kinds of private records, selected books, biographies, lines and inscriptions, Li Xinchuan made a detailed textual research, adopted what he thought was credible, identified what he thought was not credible, and annotated them one by one. For important events, this article cannot cover all of them, but it is also indicated separately. However, because the author wrote this book after Qin Gui and Qin Gui arbitrarily tampered with the official history, Yao Lu inevitably inherited the Old Chapter and its fallacies. The compilation of Yao Lu is mostly modeled after the long edition of Li Tao's A Mirror for Continuing Capital Management, and its title is Yao Lu, which is also a summary and record, which is somewhat different from the principle of long edition. This book is a long sequel, and Li Xinchuan and Li Tao are called deserved. The book A Record covers the politics, military affairs and economy of Song Gaozong's generation. The narrative of culture also records the historical events of Jin Taizong Wan, Jin Xizong Wan and Jin Hailing Yan Yanliang, which is one of the basic history books for studying the history of Song and Jin Dynasties. This book can supplement the Three Dynasties and the North Alliance compiled by Xu. The former has a more comprehensive narrative, while the latter keeps more original accounts. Through these two books, we can understand the historical facts of the Gaozong generation more clearly.
