Does Mongolia have a navy?

Mongolia established this navy (actually a small merchant fleet) with the purpose of transporting oil by boat through Lake Hofsgor in Kusugur. After the disintegration of the Soviet Union, Lake Kusugur was a famous tourist attraction in Mongolia, and there was no pollution. In order to protect the environment, Mongolia stopped transporting oil by oil. This so-called "three ships, two guns and one plane" is said that only one tugboat named Suhkbaatar is still in use.

All the ships in mongolia navy.

"sukhbaatar" is an old Russian tugboat, moored on Lake Kusugur, 2000 kilometers away from the nearest sea area. These Mongolian sailors usually don't have any military missions. Their main job is to transport wool and leather produced in Mongolia to Russia on the other side for trading. Bart Bayan is the captain of the sukhbaatar. His greatest hope is to see the real sea one day.

The Mongolian Maritime Department has crew members who practice and work in ports in Russia and Poland, and there are also Mongolian crew members in ports near the Kara Sea along the Russian Arctic Ocean.

Militarily, all the sailors with Mongolian nationality in the Russian navy serve in the Russian Arctic Fleet (Northern Fleet). Mongolia has gunboats patrolling inland rivers and lakes, such as Kusugur Lake, and patrol boats on the Selenger River, all equipped by Poland and Romania.
