What is the image of Li Bai in Du Fu's poem No See?

The poet expressed pity and sympathy for Li Bai's lack of talent, so he was arrogant and self-indulgent. In ancient times, some people who were dissatisfied with reality often pretended to be crazy and sold stupidity, just like in the Spring and Autumn Period. Li Bai claimed that "I am a madman in Chu"

("Lu Shan Ge Yi Yu Shi Lu Xuzhou"), and often indulged in poetry and songs, expressing his grief and indignation in a wild and uninhibited way. It is really sad for an ambitious person to "pretend to be crazy and sell stupidity".

Although "putting on airs" can deceive the world, Du Fu deeply understands and sympathizes with Li Bai's difficulties. The word "truth" modifies "sadness" and vividly expresses the poet's infinite regret and sympathy.
