Black tea originated in Anhua, and was first born in Bao Zhiyuan, near Zijiang. Later, it spread to Yashengping, Huangshengping, Sezhou, Jiangnan, Xiaoyan and other places along the Zijiang River, with Jiangnan as the concentrated area and Gaojiaxi and Majia as the most famous for their quality.
