Where is Ningyuan of the Ming Dynasty now?

Ningyuan in the Ming Dynasty is now the ancient city of Xingcheng.

The earliest record of the name Xingcheng in history was in the Liao Dynasty. In 990 AD, Xingcheng County was established to administer Taohuadao County, which is now Haikou of Diaoyutai Street. This is the earliest origin of the name Xingcheng. In the third year of Xuande in Ming Dynasty, Wu Kai, the company commander, and Bao Huaide, the imperial capital, built the Ningyuan Acropolis, ceded territory to Jinzhou and Ruizhou, and set up the Ningyuan Acropolis north of Cao Zhuang and Tang Di. This is the earliest origin of the name Ningyuan. Later, it was renamed Xingcheng on 19 15 because it had the same name as Hunan and Shanxi Ningyuan. In the fifth year of Xuande in Ming Dynasty, namely 1430, Ningyuan City was built, which was divided into inner and outer cities. The outer city is located one mile outside each inner city gate, which means five miles around the inner city and nine miles around the outer city gate. There are four outer city gates: Anyuan in the east, Yongqing in the south, Yingen in the west and Dading in the north. There are four inner city gates: He Chun in the east, Yan Hui in the south, Yongning in the west and Weiyuan in the north. After Jiao Lizhong, the governor-general, built streets and two floors of bells and drums in the city. One hundred years later, in the second year of Qin Long, that is,1March 28th, 568, both the inner city and the outer city were destroyed by the earthquake.
