For external use: steam the patch with vinegar, pound it for application or apply the juice. Oral administration: decoction, 0.5 to 1 tael.
Selected Recipes ① Treat carbuncle with a back as big as a plate and stinking rot that cannot be approached: steam tung leaf vinegar and apply it on it, which can reduce fever and relieve pain, and gradually close the fleshy mouth. ("Yilin Zhengzong")
② To treat unknown swollen poison: Paulownia flowers or leaves, and Buddleia purpurea cost 5 qian each. Pound and apply. (Jiangxi "Herbal Medicine Manual")

④ When lifting people with bald temples and no growth: three liters of pockmarked kernels and a handful of white tung leaves. Boil the rice for five or six times, drain it and wash it. ("Filling the defect behind the elbow")
