Why didn't you read sentences in ancient Chinese?

Ancient Chinese was originally written without punctuation marks, because the words engraved on Oracle Bone Inscriptions, bronzes or fabrics must be very concise, so as not to use too much carving and writing materials.

However, in order to convey the meaning smoothly and correctly when reading, we should pay attention to the relationship between sentences, and readers will mark the articles themselves, which is sentence reading. Sentence reading refers to printing dots or circle symbols where reading needs to stop. This kind of engraving has appeared in Song books, apparently to help people read.
