How do beginners meditate

The process of meditation is as follows:

1, sitting posture

Find a place to sit, it is best to prepare a cushion, and you don't have to cross your legs. The key is to keep your back straight, relax your body, close your eyes slightly, and you can see the light, stay "blind" and relax your face. According to my experience, the hand posture is shown below, which can naturally concentrate and calm down.

2. Pay attention to your breathing

Find the place where your body feels most obvious when you breathe, usually the outermost end of your nostrils, and then focus entirely on this place. Then start breathing naturally, observe the feeling of that place every time you breathe naturally, just concentrate and do nothing else;

Step 3 experience the present

The first meditator's brain will keep turning, his thoughts will be difficult to control, he will extrapolate, or he will fall asleep. At this point, you don't need to be depressed or blamed, just pull your attention back gently and gently at the moment you notice it flying out, don't blame yourself, and continue to pay attention to your breathing.

Meditation is a process that you keep repeating: an exercise of concentration, inattention and refocusing. It is worth emphasizing that meditation fails, which does not mean "today's meditation failed, because you have been unable to concentrate". With more practice, you can immediately detect an idea when it comes, and your mind can stay in the present state for a long time without giving birth to an idea.
