In the Western Jin Dynasty, there was a grave robber named Ban. The grave robbers found a big tomb. Later, it was confirmed that the owner of the tomb was Wei Xiangwang in the Warring States Period. Grave robbers were not allowed in Wei Xiangwang's tomb, and they also brought a lot of gold and silver treasures. Later, after the news left, it also caused a great shock. When the news reached the eyes of the official, the official immediately sent troops to block the ancient tomb and carry out rescue excavation. Many documents were found in the official excavation. These things were just a pile of waste paper for grave robbers, and some of them were even lit by him for lighting, but for some archaeologists at that time, they were all treasures.
Later, Sima Yan, Emperor Wu of the Jin Dynasty, sent a large group of civil servants to the tomb to collect information, and then ordered these people to compile a history book based on the collected information, which was later called the Chronicle of Bamboo Slips. This book was written 300 years earlier than Sima Qian's Historical Records, and mainly recorded some history from the Three Emperors and Five Emperors to the Warring States Period. However, many contents in the book subverted people's cognition, so this book was later banned from spreading.
For the simplest example, this book records that Yao Shunyu didn't give up on each other. According to the book, Shun is actually a super villain, who not only imprisoned Yao, but also took away his position and finally killed Yao directly. Later, Yu disobeyed Shun's management, so he rebelled directly in the summer and finally exiled Shun, which is quite different from our traditional cognition.
