How to find out where your files are?

Check the file location as follows:

1. Start from the alma mater and go directly to the alma mater archives.

2. Or look up the contact information, telephone number or email address of the archives of the alma mater online, and contact the relevant person in charge for inquiry;

3. If you don't stay at your alma mater through university archives, you can also find out the whereabouts of the archives when you graduate;

4. There are basically six major flows in the archives of college graduates.

If the contracting unit does not have the right to receive files, the files shall be transferred to the talent market in the city and county where the work unit is located. Graduates who have not signed a contract, are unemployed, are freelancers and start their own businesses, and their files are directly transferred back to the personnel departments at the city and county levels of origin.

Article 2 The term "archives" as mentioned in this Law refers to various forms of historical records which are directly formed by past and present state organs, social organizations and individuals engaged in political, military, economic, scientific, technological, cultural and religious activities and are of preservation value to the state and society.
