Folk New Year paintings of Qilin sending his son off

Wu Qiang's New Year painting "Qilin Sending His Son" belongs to the child beast door god. Ancient books say: Confucius spit out jade books when he saw Lin. Therefore, among the Han people, there is a saying that Qilin gives birth to a child. This picture depicts two immortals riding on a unicorn, holding "lotus" and "sheng", sending a child to wish a child, which means good luck. It is often used to decorate newlyweds' bridal chambers or affixed to the doors of young couples' rooms.
