The first systematic dictionary in the world is Er Ya?

Erya is indeed the first systematic dictionary in the world. Erya is the first comprehensive dictionary arranged according to semantic categories in China, and it is an important reference book for mining ancient words in ancient documents, including the Five Classics.

Erya in Han Dynasty was regarded as a Confucian classic, and it was included in the Confucian Classics Department when Tang Wenzong carved it into stone classics in his adulthood. It was listed as one of the thirteen classics in Song Dynasty.

Erya is not a classic, nor is it a vassal of the classic. This is an independent dictionary. With the help of this dictionary, we can read ancient books and learn ancient vocabulary. Erya is regarded as the pioneering work of China's exegetics, which has great influence on exegetics, phonology, etymology, dialectology and ancient philology.
