After 40 years' collection, the library of Henan College of Traditional Chinese Medicine has formed a literature collection system featuring traditional Chinese medicine literature, giving priority to traditional Chinese medicine literature and giving consideration to other disciplines. At present, the library has 829,498 books of all kinds. Among them, the library has 69522 1 book, which is the library's book 134277 book. In addition, there are 123000 kinds of e-books, 1300 kinds of Chinese newspapers and periodicals,1/databases. The collection of thread-bound books of ancient Chinese medicine is very rich, with more than 40 thousand volumes, including Ming and Qing editions, which occupies an important position in medical colleges in the Central Plains. At present, there are more than 40,000 ancient Chinese medicine books, two new and old periodicals 17 12, and four large medical databases, which can provide readers with services such as borrowing books, reading, searching and copying. The library has 35 full-time employees, of whom 1 re-employment. The professional structure of employees is: library science 6 people, accounting for 17%, and other majors 27 people, accounting for 77%. Education structure: graduate students 1 person, 4 in-service graduate students, 3 undergraduate graduates1person, 9 junior college graduates and 27 junior college graduates, accounting for 77%. Title structure: 4 associate senior titles, accounting for 8.5%, and intermediate titles 18, accounting for 5 1%.
The library has ten reading rooms: Chinese medicine, western medicine, foreign languages, reference, social sciences, ancient Chinese medicine books, current issues, back issues, electronic reading rooms, study rooms and so on. 794 reading seats. The library is divided into seven departments: editorial department, distribution department, periodical department, reading department, technology department, information department and office.
