This museum is an empirical, ruins-like historical memorial hall specially built for the people of China who suffered national disaster. Jiangning Weaving Museum Jiangning Weaving Museum, located in Daxing Palace, is a modern museum built on the site of Jiangning weaving in Qing Dynasty. Designed by Wu, a famous architect and academician of the two academies.

The overall architectural style of Jiangning Weaving Museum takes the artistic conception of China landscape painting as profound and lofty, and covers the buildings with high north and low south as far as possible with garden techniques.

Jiangning Weaving, Yunjin Tianyi, Dream of Red Mansions, China Cheongsam and Yunjin Boutique are permanently displayed in the museum. In addition, there are exhibition and service facilities such as the Red Chamber Cinema, the Fashion Release Center, the Weaving Department Stage, the Red Chamber Bookstore and the Dream of Red Mansions Library.
