The culture of ethnic ancient books is a highlight of Bijie's national reputation. More than 70 books with more than 30 million words, such as Southwest Yi Records, Yiyuan, Yijing Catalogue and Migration Songs, have attracted the attention of experts and scholars at home and abroad, making Bijie one of the student practice bases of Central University for Nationalities and Southwest People's College.
