In the thirty-eighth year of Qianlong (1773), in February, in order to compile the Sikuquanshu, the imperial court specially opened the "Sikuquanshu Museum". Since the emperor ordered the compilation of this book, the editor of this book must not be an idle person. The main person in charge is directly appointed by the emperor, usually the royal county king, university students, military ministers and six ministers and assistant ministers; Editors are specially recruited from famous scholars in imperial academy and all over the country. According to statistics, there are as many as 360 court officials, scholars and scholars serving in the Siku Library. The famous Ji Xiaolan is one of the directors of Sikuquanshu.
After arduous work and hard work, hundreds of book compilers have collected tens of thousands of precious classics, such as books donated from all over the country, books collected from all parts of the court, Yongle Grand Ceremony compiled by the Ming emperor, and all of them have been concentrated in the places where the Sikuquanshu was specially edited, and they have been comprehensively cleaned up and edited, and finally the compilation of Sikuquanshu has been completed.
