The treatment method is to use pungent and warm ingredients to relieve symptoms. Also known as “dispersing wind and cold” [1]. It refers to the treatment of wind-cold syndrome with prescriptions that are pungent and warm in nature and have the effect of dispersing wind and cold [1]. It is suitable for symptoms of wind-cold symptoms such as severe aversion to cold but mild fever, body aches, and no sweating [2]. The main symptoms are severe aversion to cold, mild fever, no sweat, headache and body pain, thin and white coating, and floating and tight pulse. Early edema syndrome with severe upper body swelling, rheumatic bone pain accompanied by fever and wind, and asthma syndrome induced by exogenous wind and cold can all be used as appropriate [2]. Commonly used drugs include ephedra, cinnamon twig, perilla leaf, hyacinth, saposhnikovia, schizonepeta, etc. [2].
