What do you mean, god beast?

God beast is the name given to children by netizens on the Internet. Originally refers to ancient folk myths and legends in China, represented by two instruments and two saints (the sun shines) and four heavenly spirits (Qinglong, White Tiger, Suzaku and Xuanwu), which can be found in China's classics. God beast can't find the entity in reality, but its image comes from reality. China used some ancient gods and beasts in divination, especially Daoism and Liu Yi. These beasts often appear in traditional buildings, playing the role of eliminating disasters, avoiding disasters and blessing.

Two instruments and two saints, the sun candle and the shadow of the lunar shadow can no longer be seen in modern living myths. People know little about this, and the sun candle is only active in some rare ancient books and some sporadic records in bronzes. As for the shadow of the Moon, there are even fewer records, only some bronze inscriptions and some Oracle Bone Inscriptions.

The original origin of Tiansiling is still inconclusive. If we investigate the cultural relics, according to the arrangement and research of astronomical data in Oracle Bone Inscriptions unearthed in Yin Ruins, we find that the images of the Four Spirits have been produced in Oracle Bone Inscriptions in the early Yin Shang Dynasty, and the lacquered box unearthed in Sui County records the names of 28 houses for the first time.

God beast can now be used to refer to all animals that make incredible behaviors or are liked by many people, such as the "academic cat" of China University of Science and Technology, the cloned sheep of Northwest A&F University, and modern single dog.
