Modern medical explanations are angry.

"Getting angry" is a folk saying, also known as "hot air", which can be explained theoretically in TCM and belongs to the category of heat syndrome in TCM. Chinese medicine believes that the imbalance of yin and yang in the human body and the vigorous internal fire will lead to excessive internal fire. Therefore, the so-called "fire" describes some symptoms of internal heat, and getting angry is also an internal heat syndrome after yin-yang imbalance. The specific symptoms are red eyes, oral erosion, yellow urine, toothache and sore throat. "Getting angry" is more likely to happen in dry and hot weather. It is generally believed that "fire" can be divided into two types: real fire and virtual fire, and the common types of "getting angry" in clinic are "heart fire" and "liver fire". The solution is "removing fire", that is, the method of clearing away heat and purging fire in traditional Chinese medicine, which can take drugs that nourish yin and clear heat, detoxify and reduce swelling, and can also be used in acupuncture, cupping, massage and massage in traditional Chinese medicine. Usually, we should pay attention to the combination of work and rest, and eat less hot food such as spicy fried food.

clinical picture

The clinical manifestations of "excessive internal heat" (heat syndrome) vary from mild to severe. Common severe diseases, such as heatstroke, are mostly due to high temperature, lack of water and long-term sultry environment, which may lead to fever and even coma. It is a typical exogenous heat syndrome. The so-called "excessive internal heat" is generally mild, belonging to the mild symptoms of heat syndrome in traditional Chinese medicine, such as red eyes, aphtha, yellow urine, toothache, sore throat, etc., without systemic heat symptoms. In this case, endogenous heat is much more than exogenous heat. If work and life are stressful, you often stay up late and eat spicy food. It is easy to make a fire from the inside.

Clinical manifestations of excess fire: red face and red eyes, chapped lips, bitter mouth and dry mouth, erosion of mouth and tongue, sore throat, gingival bleeding, epistaxis, tinnitus and deafness, furuncle, fever and irritability, short and red urine, bloody stool, red tongue with yellow coating and rapid pulse.

Clinical manifestations of deficiency fire: most of them are caused by internal injury and strain, which can be further divided into yin deficiency and qi deficiency and internal heat. Excessive fire due to yin deficiency is characterized by hot flashes, night sweats, emaciation, dry mouth and throat, vexation, restlessness, red tongue without coating, and rapid pulse. The common symptoms of qi deficiency and excessive fire are: low fever all over the body, especially before noon, fear of cold and wind, aversion to heat and cold, mental fatigue, shortness of breath and laziness, spontaneous sweating, loose urine, weak pulse, pale tongue with thin fur.
