Ancient geography

Shijiazhuang was built in the Ming Dynasty. Qing belongs to Huolu County, Zhengding Prefecture. According to the Records of Hulu County, which was revised in the fourth year of Guangxu reign (AD 1878), there were 100 families in Shijiazhuang at that time, with a population of more than 600, and most of the villagers were farmers, covering an area of about half a square kilometer. Shijiazhuang has experienced more than 400 years of Ming and Qing dynasties, and its development is not great. The real development period is after the end of the Qing Dynasty, starting with the main line of Han Jing Railway with 190 12 13 km, the station with 1902, the Zheng Tai Railway with 1904, and the Shitai Railway with 1907. All the guests who go to Shanxi come here, and then find a car to go west by dry road. According to historical records, Huolu County has been the main road for the western mountainous areas to enter the North China Plain since ancient times. The reopening of the two main railway lines, Han Jing and Zheng Tai, has rapidly made Shijiazhuang a material distribution center in the southern part of Hebei, Jinzhong and Hebei, with merchants gathering and prospering day by day.
