Drowning first aid method

When someone is found drowning, he should first rescue the drowning person from the water, immediately check whether there is dirt and debris in the mouth and nasal cavity, and promptly give first aid to spitting water. At the same time, you should call 120 yourself or find them. The rescuer kneels on the ground with his right knee flexed. Put the belly of the drowning man horizontally on the rescuer's left knee, so that the head of the drowning man hangs down, and the rescuer presses the drowning man's back with his right hand, so that the drowning man can fully spit out the water in the mouth, respiratory tract and stomach.

If the drowning person stops breathing, immediately clear the respiratory tract, make him lie on his back and raise his head, and immediately carry out mouth-to-mouth artificial respiration. The specific method is that the rescuer holds the mouth of the drowning person and blows, with a large amount of blowing, blowing 15-20 times per minute.

If the drowning person's heartbeat stops, immediately let the drowning person lie on his back and beat the precordial area 1-2 times with his fist, with appropriate force. Then, put your hands on the junction of the drowning person's sternum 1/3 and press them regularly and continuously. When pressing, the arm should be straight, the frequency should reach 100 times per minute, and the depth should be 5 cm (2-3 cm for children). Stop until you can feel the patient's carotid pulse. If only one rescuer performs cardiopulmonary resuscitation, press the heart 30 times, blow into the lungs twice, and so on. After on-site first aid, the drowning person was quickly sent to a nearby hospital for further rescue treatment.
