What's the difference between ancient books and books?

In Oracle Bone Inscriptions's time, characters were carved on tortoise shells or animal bones, and tortoise shells and animal bones were made of "pieces". From the Zhou Dynasty, the Qin Dynasty to the Han Dynasty, characters were mostly written on bamboo slips, which were called Jane and wooden slips were called letters. Several pieces of paper and paper are strung together with cowhide rope, which is a "book". This kind of leather rope is called Wei. The word "book" is a hieroglyph, much like a cowhide rope connecting bamboo pieces and wood blocks. Put a book in a bamboo basket, and the basket full of books is called "Bu". When you write on bamboo slips, you also write on silk fabrics. This kind of book is called silk. Roll this written silk into a tube and stretch it with a shaft. Each tube is called a "roll". Ming Hu Yinglin said, "All the books before the Tang Dynasty were scrolls, which covered this world and called the ancient axis." Every five or ten volumes of books are put together and covered with a piece of cloth or silk. These five or ten volumes are a "book volume". "voluminous" refers to the huge number of books.
