Historical evolution of Laos

Laos has a long history. According to ancient books, Laos belonged to Funan country from 1 century to the end of the 7th century. Later it belonged to the real wax country.

The establishment of Lancang Kingdom in A.D. 1353 was the heyday in Laos' history and was once one of the most prosperous countries in Southeast Asia.

From 1707 to 17 13, Luang Prabang dynasty, Vientiane dynasty and Zhanbei dynasty were gradually formed.

From 1779 to 19, it was gradually conquered by Siam.

1893 became a protectorate of France.

1940 was occupied by Japan in September.

According to the Constitution, the Supreme People's Assembly was renamed the National Assembly, and the original red star, axe and sickle on the national emblem of Laos will be replaced by the design of the famous ancient tower.
