It comes from Du Ren Jing, the full name of which is The Wonderful Classic of Infinite Man in Taishang Cave. It is a Taoist theological work with unknown author, which originated in the Eastern Jin Dynasty.
Original text:
The humanity is boundless, the fairy road is boundless, and the ghost road is happy! When life is at the door, the fairy road is expensive, and the ghost road is expensive; Fairy road is often self-satisfied, and ghost road is often self-fierce; High and clear, beautiful and sorrowful; I only want heaven to succeed, not humanity to be poor. There are many ghosts in the Qufu of Beidu Spring. But to curb people's calculations, cut off people's lives; A-ren sang the cave chapter to photograph the northern Luo Tan, recite the demon spirit and behead the six ghost fronts. The weather is swinging, and I am thriving.
Translation:
The road of a person's life is empty and obscure, and the road of cultivating immortality is boundless and difficult to grasp. The road of ghosts that leads astray in life can really satisfy people's momentary pleasure of greed and delusion! When "people" are going to live safely, they are going to spend their lives trying to do things for others, and when they enter the "ghost road", they are going to consider how to "end up".
Those who cultivate immortality and practice Taoism are naturally lucky, while those who enter the ghost path are naturally vicious; Therefore, people with high morality are naturally quietism and beautiful in heart! Don't "lament the space": I hope that people in the world will "follow the Tao" and achieve everything; Unwilling to be flooded with human desires destroys the ecological balance of all things in the world and makes human survival fall into a poor and embarrassing situation!
Miao House in Beiduquan, where there are thousands of ghosts. However, this is the place to stop and curb people's greedy calculation, and it is also the key to "cut off people's desires". The grotto movement of the "wicked" wailing songs was stunned in Beiluotan. There is a constraint on all matters concerning the chanting of "demons and monsters".
Because of the illusion of "eyes, ears, nose, tongue, body and mind" caused by greed, it is called "six ghosts". It has been cut off by the sharp sword that cuts the demon and subdues the demon. The cultivation of the way of internal strength and health preservation has reached the artistic realm of "knowing the heart and seeing the nature", and the atmosphere of the heavens is boundless. Clearly, my "invisible dharma body" is thriving day by day!

Influenced by the prevalence of Taoist metaphysics, Du Ren Jing is very popular among Taoist scholars, from Yan Dong in the Southern Dynasty to Xue Youqi, Li Shaowei, Cheng Xuanying, Zhang Wanfu, Chen Jingyuan, Chen Chunrong, Xiao Yingcuo in the Song Dynasty, Xue Jizhao in the Yuan Dynasty, Chen Guanwu, Chen Zhixu in the Ming Dynasty and Zhang Yuchu in the Ming Dynasty.

The philosophy contained in Du Ren Jing is mainly the theory of cosmogenesis. Its author and three other annotators, Yan Dong, Xue Youqi and Li Shaowei, were greatly influenced by the philosophy of the Han Dynasty, and they were basically monists, who thought that everything was created by nothing. This is the meaning of the original matter and the cause of everything, and has no ontological meaning.
Du Ren Jing also preaches the tenets of "Immortal Daoism is precious to life, infinite people", "Immortal Daoism is precious to life, and ghost Daoism is precious to the end", "Immortal Daoism is always self-satisfied, and ghost Daoism is always fierce" and "Immortal Daoism is expensive, and ghost Daoism is connected".
Du Ren Jing has two to sixty-one volumes, each with its own items. According to the first volume, the contents can be mainly divided into three categories.
in the first category, according to the theory of yin and yang, three talents and five elements, it explains the creation of the universe, the breeding of characters and the way to help Shunde. Such as "Yu Ming Yun Du Pin", "Yin Yang Clutch Five Elements Body Pin" and so on.
the second category lists the prescriptions for eliminating disasters, exorcising evil spirits, controlling ghosts and exorcising demons, so as to make the best use of them. Such as "Praying for Drought and Flood" and "Killing Five Elements of Evil and Strange Products".
the third category discusses the methods of preserving shape and nourishing spirit and growing up. Such as "longevity" and "rebirth and death". The stylistic structure of each volume is the same as that of the first volume, but there are symbols between them.
