Does the ancient beast Kirin exist?

Kirin really existed in ancient times.

According to textual research, Kirin is real. Like the dragon, Confucius, Lu Aigong and Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty have all seen it. As early as more than two thousand years ago, the earliest record of Kirin appeared in the Book of Songs. The discovery of Kirin three times in the Ming Dynasty shocked the emperors of past dynasties.

Kirin was first discovered in the 20th year of Chenghua in Ming Dynasty (A.D. 1484). In a farmer's home in Sizhou, Jiangsu Province (now Xuyi, Jiangsu Province), a cow gave birth to a unicorn. This unicorn is covered with black scales.

And Kirin has been alive and kicking all his life. People thought it was a monster, so they beat the unicorn Chen alive with a stick. Jia Jun, assistant minister of the Ministry of Industry at that time, happened to be on a business trip there, so he cut a unicorn leg in the home of ordinary people and went back to Beijing to brag to his colleagues.

The second discovery of Kirin was in the 12th year of Jiajing (A.D. 1533). A cow gave birth to a unicorn in a farmer's home in Liaocheng County, Shandong Province. According to historical records, Kirin was "magnificent in appearance" and ran to the kitchen after birth, biting the iron pot of peasant pancakes. The farmer was surprised and scared, and also killed Kirin alive.

Characteristics of Kirin:

Kirin has been recorded in the history books of different periods in China, and the most famous one is the historical allusion of "Hunting for Forests in the Western Expedition". Kirin, as an auspicious animal in ancient China, is described in different versions of ancient books as having a head like a dragon, a horse, a deer and an oxtail, with colorful fur lines on the back and yellow fur on the abdomen.

It is said that Kirin is gentle, does not harm people and animals, and does not trample on flowers and plants. According to Song Shu, unicorn is a kind of benevolent beast. It is said that Kirin can live for 2000 years, and ancient books say that it is "a bell in the sound, a rule in walking, a place to swim, and an auspicious place." Don't step on bugs, don't practice grass, don't live in groups, don't travel together, and don't get caught. "

According to ancient records, Kirin, like Phoenix, is divided into male and female. Qi is male and Lin is female, both of which are called Kirin. The legend of Kirin is a descendant of Ying Long. As a male, Qi has a unique horn, while as a female, Lin has no horn, but her mouth can spit fire and her voice is like thunder.
