I made this up, but there is no such book as Miscellanies of Cui Hua Hall, and there is no such person as Fang Jingru. The name of Cuihuatang Miscellaneous Notes comes from Ji Xiaolan's Notes on Yuewei Caotang. Why changed it to "Cui"? Because I want to go to Cuiwei Commercial Building in Beijing (the highest-selling department store retail group in Beijing). As for Huatang, it is also the name of a chain store in Beijing. The first half of the story is all real information found on the internet, and the second half about Nangong Huang is made up by me.
