How did the Song government organize medical books in the fourth year of Kaibao?
In the fourth year of Kaibao (97 1), the emperor issued "Visiting the Elder with Excellent Medical Skills" to focus on famous doctors; In the sixth year of Taiping Xingguo (98 1), a large number of "home visits" were issued, which clearly stipulated that those who donated more than 200 books would be rewarded; In A.D. 1026, the Song government once again ordered the nationwide collection of medical books, and asked medical scientists and bibliographers to sort them out in the National Library.
