Cao Cao Gaoling Site Museum is located in Xigaoxue Village, Anfeng Township, Yindu District, Anyang City, Henan Province. It highlights the main colors of black and red in the Three Kingdoms period, and draws lessons from the characteristics of deep eaves in Han architecture to create a magnificent architectural image. On April 27th, 2023, the opening ceremony of Cao Cao Gaoling Site Museum was held. On April 29th, Cao Cao Gaoling Site Museum was opened to the public, and those who recited Cao Cao's poems completely and accurately were free.
Cao Cao is a famous politician, strategist and writer in the history of China, the founder of Cao Wei regime and the promoter of Jian 'an literature. Cao Cao Gaoling in Anyang is the mausoleum of Cao Cao. From June 5438 to February 2009, it was confirmed by archaeology and selected as "Top Ten Archaeological Discoveries in China in 2009" and "Six Archaeological Discoveries in China" by the Institute of Archaeology of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. The discovery and excavation of Cao Cao's Gaoling in Anyang set an accurate time scale for the archaeological research of Han and Wei Dynasties, and provided valuable physical materials for the study of the system of Han and Wei emperors' tombs and the history of Han and Wei Dynasties.

The building of Cao Cao Gaoling Site Museum is designed by Tsinghua University Architectural Design and Research Institute, which makes full use of the terrain and reduces the impact of building volume on Gaoling environment. The main color of the building is black and red in the Three Kingdoms period, and its appearance draws lessons from the characteristics of Han architecture and shapes a magnificent architectural image.
In order to protect the historical and cultural heritage to the greatest extent, the steel structure protection shed built on site has a horizontal span of 120m and a vertical span of 140m. During the construction process, the translation technology of giant truss steel structure was adopted, which achieved "zero" contact with cultural relics and reached the world leading level. In 2020, the project won the Gold Medal of China Building Steel Structure.
