Feng, Ya and Song refer to the three parts of the "Book of Songs", my country's first collection of poetry.
Wind is the local music of different regions. "Wind" is a collection of folk songs from 15 regions including Zhounan, Zhaonan, Ying, She, Wei, Wang, Zheng, Qi, Wei, Tang, Qin, Chen, Hui, Cao and Bin, with a total of 160 articles. Most of them are folk songs.
Ya refers to the music of the Zhou Dynasty, the so-called formal music. According to the different music, it can be divided into 31 "Daya" songs, 74 "Xiaoya" songs, and 105 "Xiaoya" songs. Except for a few folk songs in "Xiaoya", most of them are works of aristocratic literati.
Songs are dances and songs used in ancestral temple sacrifices, and their content is mostly about praising the ancestors’ achievements. Song lyrics are divided into 31 poems from Zhou and Song Dynasties, 4 poems from Lu Song Dynasty, 5 poems from Shang and Song Dynasties, and 40 poems from Song Dynasty. They are all works of noble literati. From a time perspective, most of the Zhou, Song and Daya dynasties were formed in the early years of the Western Zhou Dynasty. A small part of Daya and a large part of Xiaoya were formed during the eastward migration period in the late Western Zhou Dynasty, and most of Guofeng, Lu Song, and Shang Song were formed in the Spring and Autumn Period.

Confucius once summarized the purpose of the "Book of Songs" as "innocence" and taught his disciples to read the "Book of Songs" as a standard for speech and action. Among the pre-Qin scholars, many quoted the Book of Songs. For example, Mencius, Xunzi, Mozi, Zhuangzi, Han Feizi, etc. often quoted sentences from the Book of Songs to enhance their persuasiveness when reasoning and demonstrating. By the time of Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty, the Book of Songs was regarded as a classic by Confucianism and became one of the Six Classics and the Five Classics.
The Book of Songs is rich in content, reflecting labor and love, war and corvee, oppression and resistance, customs and marriage, ancestor worship and banquets, and even celestial phenomena, landforms, animals, plants and other aspects. It is a masterpiece of Zhou Dynasty A mirror of social life.
