What are the three types of hand pulse diagnosis in traditional Chinese medicine?

Hello, there are three types of pulse diagnosis: first diagnosis, third diagnosis and inching. It is difficult to explain the scientific basis clearly, even the famous professors can't explain it all, and they can't say it clearly in a few words. They have to be verbose and may not understand it without foundation.

Full-time diagnosis can be found in Su Wen San Bu Jiu Hou Lun, in which the head, hands and feet feel the pulse, and the three diagnosis methods can be found in Han Dynasty Zhang Zhongjing's Treatise on Febrile Diseases. Three parts, namely, the human carotid artery, the cunkou and the butterfly yang (dorsal foot artery). The above two kinds of pulse diagnosis parts have been rarely used in later generations. Since the Jin Dynasty, the location of pulse diagnosis has been Cunkou. The inching method was first seen in Neijing, and it was advocated that inching alone was difficult to get the classics. However, this idea was not widely implemented at that time, and it was not until the Pulse Classic written by Wang Shuhe in the Jin Dynasty that the method of inching alone was popularized.

Cunkou, also known as pulse port and air port, is located at the pulse position of wrist flexion artery. The theoretical basis of pulse diagnosis by taking Cunkou alone is that Cunkou is the artery of Taiyin's hand and lung meridian, where qi and blood converge, and the qi and blood of the five zang-organs the twelve meridians all start from the lung and stop at the lung, so the pathological changes of qi and blood of zang-fu organs can be reflected at Cunkou. In addition, the lung meridian of the hand Taiyin originates from the middle jiao, belongs to the Taiyin meridian with the spleen meridian, and communicates with the qi of the spleen and stomach, which is the acquired foundation and the source of qi and blood biochemistry, so the rise and fall of qi and blood in the zang-fu organs can be reflected in the inch mouth, so the whole body can be diagnosed by taking the inch mouth alone.

Inch measurement, gap and ruler are three parts, with the high bone (styloid process of radius) as the symbol, the slightly inner part as the gap, the inch before the gap (wrist end) and the ruler after the gap (elbow end). Hand test, test, test three points, pulse six points * *. Inch, gap and ruler are divided into three stages: floating, middle and sinking, which are the three stages of inching diagnosis.

Doctors in past dynasties have different views on the classification of zang-fu organs according to inch scale. At present, the following are the standards:

Left inch can wait: heart and middle stomach, right inch can wait: lung and chest.

Left hand syndrome: liver and gallbladder; Right hand syndrome: diaphragm, spleen and stomach

Left foot can wait: kidney and lower abdomen can wait: kidney and lower abdomen can wait.

Principle of pulse formation

Pulse condition is the image that pulse condition should refer to. The heart controls blood vessels, including blood and pulse. The pulse is the house of blood, and the heart is connected with the pulse. The heart beats regularly, pushing the blood to run in the blood vessels, and the blood vessels also produce rhythmic pulses (thus forming a pulse, so the heart can move, and the pulse should mean that the heart beats regularly), and the blood running in the tube is driven by Zong Ling. Blood circulates in blood vessels and throughout the body. In addition to the leading role of the heart, there must be coordination of various organs. The lung faces a hundred pulses, that is, the blood vessels circulating all over the body converge in the lung, and the lung governs qi. Only through the use of lung qi can blood be distributed throughout the body; Spleen and stomach are the source of qi and blood biochemistry, and spleen governs blood; The liver stores blood, governs drainage and regulates circulating blood volume; Kidney storing essence and refining qi are the basis of human yang, the motive force of functional activities of various organs and tissues, and essence can be transformed into blood, which is one of the material bases for blood production. Therefore, the formation of pulse condition is closely related to the qi and blood of viscera.
