Xinglin, synonymous with Chinese medicine, comes from the story of Dong Feng, one of the three great doctors in Jian 'an. According to the legend of the immortals, "you live in a remote place, treat people and things, and make people seriously ill, so that you plant five apricots, but one is lighter." In this way, after a few years, there are more than ten thousand strains of 10, which is a forest ... "
According to the legend of Dongfeng, people use "Xinglin" to praise doctors. Doctors often pretend to be "Xinglin people". Later generations praised the doctor's noble quality and superb medical skills with the reputation of "Xinglin Spring Warm" and Xinglin.
Legendary story:
During the Three Kingdoms period, there was a doctor in the State of Wu named Dong Feng, a native of Hehouguan (now Min County, Fujian Province), who was born in the Three Kingdoms period (about AD 22 1 ~ 264).
When Dong Feng was a teenager, besides studying the classics of ancient books, he also devoted himself to studying Huang Qi's art, determined to be a doctor who helped the world. Later, by chance, I met an expert, so I studied Taoism. I am not only superb in medical skills, but also able to predict storms. People regard him as a "call the wind and call the rain" fairy.
Taoism has its own principle of self-cultivation. After Dong Feng's Taoist training, his youth remains the same. It is said that a boy was born in Houguan. When I first met Dong Feng, Dong Feng was already in his early forties. Fifty years later, he returned to Houguan to visit relatives and met many neighbors and friends.
They are all old and dead, but Dong Feng's face is the same as before, and his heart is very strange. He asked Dong Feng: "I think Mr. Wang is middle-aged, and now his hair is white, but you are still as strong as middle-aged people." Is Mr. Wang right? " Dong Feng replied: Occasionally.
Immortality is the dream of many emperors and dignitaries, but as Bai Juyi said in his poem, "Zhu Yan has no good medicine". As a result, more and more people came to seek "elixir of life" and "magic", which made Dong Feng restless all day, so he left his hometown and traveled around the world to save people with medical skills.
Passing through JIAOZHOU (present-day Guangxi), Shi Xie, a secretariat, went into poisoning shock and died three days later. After Dong Feng's treatment, he came back to life. The news soon spread throughout the south of the Yangtze River. Shi Xie's family was so grateful that they specially built a tall building next to the mansion for Dong Feng to live in and personally served three meals a day. A year later, Dong Feng declined Shi Xie's kind invitation and left Jiaozhou for the north.
