Historical materials of Gaozhou County, Maoming City, Guangdong Province
The place name "Gaozhou" almost evolved from "Gaoliang County". Gaoliang County is named after Gaoliangling in Tang Yin Management District, Jiangcao Town, Gaozhou City. The word "Gaoliang" comes from "Gaoliangshan, whose real name is Gaoliang, is named Gaoliangshan because of its beautiful mountains and beautiful waters, and its summer is like autumn." Gaozhou was officially named after Liang Datong (AD 527-528). The capital of Gaozhou City is located in Nanhai County, Qin Wei, south of Yugongyang County. Korea belongs to Gaoliang County and Hepu County. The Three Kingdoms, Jin and Song Dynasties are Liangle County. Liang belongs to Gaozhou (officially named Gaozhou by Liang Datong Middle School (527-528)), which is divided into Dianbai County and Suiping Chenjun was abolished as Gaoliang County and Yongxi County. At that time, Maoming Dianbai belonged to Gaoliang County and Liangde belonged to Yongxi County. The early Tang Dynasty belonged to Gaozhou. In the eighth year of Zhenguan (634), Maoming was governed by Panzhou, and in the twenty-second year (648), Gaozhou was steep to govern Gaoliang and moved to govern Liangde. At the beginning of Tianbao (742), Gaozhou was called Gaoliang County, Panzhou was called Pannan County, and the Five Dynasties belonged to the Southern Han Dynasty. In the fifth year of Song Kaibao (972), Panzhou entered Gaozhou, still called Gaoliang County, belonging to Guangnan West Road. In the first year of Jingdezhen (1004), the state was abandoned to Douzhou, and it was relocated in three years (1006). In the 15th year of Yuan Dynasty (1278), the appeasement department of Gaozhou Road was established. 19 (1280) was changed to the general government, which was subordinate to Huguangxing Zhongshu Province. Ming said Gaozhou government belongs to the Chief Secretary. The present dynasty (Qing Dynasty) belongs to five counties (Maoming, Dianbai, Xinyi, Wuchuan and Lianjiang) in Lingzhou (Huazhou) of Guangdong Province. Maoming County (now Gaozhou City) belonged to Gaoliang County of Hepu County in Han Dynasty, and Maoming County belonged to Gaoliang County in Sui Dynasty (Huang Kai 18 AD 578). Gaozhou in the early Tang Dynasty, Southern Tang Dynasty in the first year of Zhenguan (627). In eight years (634), Panzhou established a county. In the first year of the Five Dynasties Liang Kaiping (907), it was changed to Shang Yue, and it was relocated in the later Tang Dynasty and Tongguangchu (923). In the fifth year of Song Kaibao (872), it was abandoned and the county belonged to Gaozhou. The first year of Jingdezhen (1004) belonged to Douzhou. Three years (1006) still belongs to Gaozhou. Fu Yuan belongs to Gaozhou, and it came to govern Gaozhou Road (Maoming County) in the eighth year of Dade (1304). The Ming Dynasty was the cause of Gaozhou government's radical cure. History shows that the ten counties under the jurisdiction of Guangdong in the Ming Dynasty have always belonged to the state. Leading guangzhou fu, Huizhou, Chaozhou, Nanxiong, Shaozhou and Zhaoqing, and then Gaozhou, Leizhou, Lianzhou, Qiongzhou and Luoding. Together, it is called ten States and one state in Guangdong. (Nanxiong, in the early Qing Dynasty, became a government in the Ming Dynasty. In the 11th year of Jiaqing, it was reduced to Zhili Prefecture; in the 16th year, it was restored as a government; in the 17th year, it was reduced to Zhili Prefecture. Jiaying, an old town and county, was placed under Chaozhou Prefecture. In the eleventh year of Yongzheng, it was promoted to Jiaying House, in the twelfth year of Jiaqing, and it was changed to Zhili House in the seventeenth year. During the Qing and Ming Dynasties, Gaozhou Prefecture governed Huazhou, Maoming, Xinyi, Dianbai, Wuchuan and Lianjiang, belonging to Leidao and Levin, and governed Maoming County. Gaozhou is called the capital of Guangdong Sixia Prefecture because of its large area and superior geographical location. The origin of "Gaozhou" Gaozhou is located in the mountainous area of western Guangdong. Before Qin Dynasty, Baiyue nationality, Central and Western Europe and Luoyue tribes lived together. Ding Yuan in the Western Han Dynasty (BC 165438+ BC 0 1) was located in Gaoliang County, belonging to Hepu County. Wu of the Three Kingdoms separated Gaoliang County from Hepu County and still established Gaoliang County. The Southern Song Dynasty abolished Gaoliang County from Gaoliang County. Liang Wudi is located in Gaozhou. Maoming County was established in Sui Dynasty. In the third year of Daye (AD 607), Gaozhou was changed to Gaoliang County to administer Maoming. Tang set up Panzhou and ruled Maoming County. In the Song Dynasty, Panzhou was merged into Gaozhou and ruled Dianbai. The Yuan Dynasty changed Gaozhou to Taoism and still ruled Dianbai. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, Maoming County was the government residence of Gaozhou, Guangdong Province. During the Republic of China, the county name remained unchanged. At first, it was transferred to Gao Lei Road, and later to the Seventh Administrative Region. Daoyin and the Commissioner's Office are both located in Gaozhou. After the founding of People's Republic of China (PRC), 1958 Maoming was divided into Maoming City and Maoming County was changed to Gaozhou County. 1On June 8th, 993, with the approval of the State Council, Gaozhou County was abolished and Gaozhou City (county-level city) was established. It is also the ancient city of Halamutu Village, Taiping Township, Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia. Gaozhou was originally a new state in the Tang Dynasty, and Wuhou was built in the early living area of Qidan, so Suizhou (Ben Gaozhou) was placed in the first city in Liao history and geography. There are Tuhai River, Sanhan County and Fuguo in the state. Today, local residents still call Gaozhou City Koryo City.
