There are several problems in reading Zuo Zhuan Zheng Boke Duan Yanyu.

1, the wall is three feet long and one foot high, which is a pheasant. Du Yu's Biography of the Spring and Autumn Annals said: "Houbo City is five miles square with a diameter of 300 pheasants, so most of it is only 100 pheasants." The height of the ancient city wall has different regulations according to the size of the city. It is "rude" to go beyond the proper specifications. This refers to Duan Shu's ambition to make his capital Zheng instead of fief.

2. The original text of Confucius in the Spring and Autumn Period was "Zheng Boke was in Yan". Bo is the eldest brother, and here is irony. He is an elder brother, but he hasn't done his duty to educate his younger brother.

3. Running away means running away and taking refuge in a foreign country (that is, "* * *"). In the original "unspeakable secret", Confucius did not say that Duan Shu fled to other countries, but accused ("difficulty" means censure), alluding to forcing Duan Shu away.

4, alias Dian Guo, monarch surnamed Ji, Earl. Important vassal States in the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period.

According to the original encyclopedia, in a word, it is the third monarch of Zheng. Zheng Huangong, the first monarch, was blocked, and then the Western Zhou Dynasty was dying in the thirty-three years of Huan Gong, so the whole country moved between Dongguo and Taitai. (Originally, after moving the capital, Zheng's capital was in "Beijing", which was Duan Shu's fief. ) Later, Zheng Huangong destroyed many neighboring countries, including Dongguo (the uncle who died of "Uncle Guo" was the monarch of Dongguo) and moved the capital to Qinyi, which was called Xinzheng.

Later, after his death, Wu Gong acceded to the throne, which destroyed Zhai and Dongguo, and established a de facto independent State of Zheng, with Xinzheng as its capital.

Zheng Wugong is followed by Zheng Zhuanggong. Within a period of time, the powerful State of Qi also divided Zheng into three parts, followed Zheng to crusade against Song, and even turned to Zheng for help. In the era, Zheng was the most powerful country at that time, and history dominated.

Note: I'm exhausted. The brackets are all my own contact with the original text. ...

5, "Poetry" is the Book of Songs, specifically quoted from "The Book of Songs, Ya Zui". As for the purpose, it is probably to sublimate the theme, praise pure filial piety and advocate filial piety. After all, in this "Zheng Boke Duan", he didn't fulfill his educational duty, Uncle Duan didn't respect and obey his brother, and Wujiang was selfish, although there was, um, I'm not sure about this last question ... I just understood it myself. )

I really played for a long time ... I didn't copy and paste much, most of them were written by myself. I bought the review version of the ancient prose of Phoenix Publishing House, and many comments are based on it. We just learned this Zuozhuan last semester, so we are familiar with it!
