Exquisite cover design of ancient books

I like buying books. Sometimes when I see a favorite writer, a book recommended by someone, or even a book with a good cover, I will buy a whole set. Whether I watch it or not is another matter.

Some books took a long time to finish, such as "White Deer Plain", which was bought in Grade Two and finally finished in Grade Two. Some books have been bought for a long time and have not been finished. I sorted out books at home during the holiday and found six. I read the beginning, maybe many times, but I never saw the end.

This book has existed for a long time, but I have only opened the first page so far.

This should be a pirated book, but when I was in high school, I once went to the bookstore to buy stationery and saw a series of classical books, including Tao Te Ching, The Analects of Confucius, The Book of Changes, Caitan Root and so on. The cover design is very simple, with the meaning of ancient books, and the thin cover is very compact. I liked it very much when I saw it. Although I know that the cultivation of ancient Chinese is not that high, I bought this book and remembered the first sentence.

Tao Te Ching is a work of Laozi in the Spring and Autumn Period. It is said that it was written at the request of customs official Yin. In just over 5,000 words, it has been regarded as the "king of all classics" for thousands of years. If you can read this book, you should be able to benefit a lot, but if you don't read it word by word, I'm afraid it will be difficult to read it, and you won't have the patience to ponder it slowly, so you have to give it up.

The Waste Land is a long collection of poems by the English poet thomas eliot, a milestone in modern British and American poetry and the most representative work in symbolism literature.

However, I bought this book only because the cover looks good. Warm yellow picture tone, endless dusk scene, a narrow wooden bridge leading to the unknown distance, without end.

Unfortunately, I don't know poetry. I can read a few words of China's classical poetry, but I don't seem to understand modern poetry at all. So I just read a few lines casually and didn't want to read any more.

This is a very thick and good book. Although this book was written in 1994, many of the theories mentioned in it have been verified by the Internet, just like a prophecy book of the Internet age. This book should be a must-read for all Internet users, especially product managers.

Author kevin kelly, KK for short, is the founding editor of Wired magazine. In China, he is also highly respected, and well-known Internet personalities such as Ma, Ma, Ma and Ma are also proud of dialogue with him.

It's a pity that I haven't read this book, but I have read another book, Design in Design, which was bought at the same time and has the same size. I read it twice.

A Brief History of Mankind is a book published by CITIC Publishing House on 20 14, 1 1. The writer is yuval Harari.

This book was given to me. It seems that he overestimated my reading ability. I have kept this book at home for three years, and I made up my mind to read it every time I picked it up, but it was a bit boring for me, so I never finished reading it completely. But then there was a short history of the future, and I actually finished reading it.

The most unbearable thing about One Hundred Years of Solitude is the complicated names, especially those with a poor memory like me, who always can't tell who is who. As long as I read foreign classics, I will feel the same way, especially Russia.

"One Hundred Years of Solitude" has a grand narrative and a less compact story structure. If you don't devote yourself wholeheartedly, you won't be led to read all the time. I was attracted once, and suddenly I was busy with something else. After a few days' delay, my desire to continue reading faded.

Japanese writers don't know much, that is, Haruki Murakami, Keigo Higashino and Yasunari Kawabata are well-known after all, and they haven't seen much Japanese literature, that is, they have just seen the representative works of famous writers, so even Japanese writers who recently won the Nobel Prize for Literature have never heard of them. However, I still like a short Japanese book called Grass in vain, a book that seems to extract every sentence, similar to prose, but meaningful.

Pillow grass, like grass in vain, is called the double gem of Japanese essay literature, but I have read grass in vain several times, but I can't read it completely. So this book has been at home for a long time, and I haven't finished reading it.

I hope I can find a time to read all these unfinished books in the future, otherwise I can't live up to my eagerness when I bought them.
