Introduction to Wugang Library:
Wugang's library undertaking has a long history. In the second year of Daguan in Zong Wei, Song Taizu (1 108), Wugang Military Academy established the Zunjing Pavilion (the capital of Liang Shuge), which contained imperial books and classics. Since then, it has been following the system of Song Dynasty, going through Yuan, Ming, Qing, Fu Xue and Zhou Xue without interruption. In the Republic of China 16 (1927), Wugang county government established the reading room of Wugang county people's education center, with a collection of more than 80,000 books. In 28 years of the Republic of China, Zhou founded the private Douliang Library in Hunan, with a collection of more than 65,438+06,000 volumes. After the founding of New China, especially after the establishment of Wugang County, the library industry has developed rapidly, from the original single public library to multi-form and multi-level collections, public libraries have been expanding, grass-roots libraries (rooms) have developed rapidly, and private collections are in the ascendant. By the end of 2003, there were libraries 104 (rooms) in the city, including public libraries 1, school libraries 85 (rooms), government libraries 4 (rooms), street libraries 1 1, and rural libraries 3.
Wugang City Library Wugang County Library was founded in August 1958, and changed its name to Wugang City Library in April/994. It is the only public library in Wugang today, which belongs to the municipal-level permanent institution and is named as the national third-class library by the Ministry of Culture. By the end of 2003, the library had a total of 15 staff, including 3 librarians and political engineers. The total collection of books is1.2000, including 25747 ancient books; Open up basic business departments such as 1 1 editing room, lending room and ancient books room, and receive an average of 654.38+million readers every year.
